INVESTMENT AND RISK MANAGEMENT FORUM

This advertising brochure was designed to promote an international forum for the financial shipping industry, held in Singapore in 2009. The printed brochure was part of a collection of coordinating marketing materials designed by Symposi that also included a website, email blasts, posters, and event handouts.

A dark color scheme and nighttime photography allude to the ominous feeling in the industry at the time of the forum, in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. Abstract elements akin to financial graphs and numbers are overlaid on top of the photography; these graphics add texture and depth to the design, in addition to referencing the financial nature of the forum.
